Wills & Bequests

Leaving a gift in your will

A bequest in your Will is a true and enduring statement of commitment and concern for others.

Naturally a family and loved ones come first, but if you are able, please think of PACI.

You might choose to leave a sum of money, shares of property, the whole or proportion of an estate, or an asset of some other kind.

Large or small, your bequest will help us continue the important work we do.

Who will your gift help?

Potentially thousands of senior Australians will benefit. Why?

Every year, one in three Australians aged over 65 falls over.

Only 40% survive that fall. Many die and others are badly injured.

Falls are the main reason older people are admitted to hospital or residential aged care facilities.

In addition to injuries, a fall that requires treatment can lead to a diminished lifestyle, loss of confidence and mobility, social contact, loneliness and depression.

Older people can safeguard their situation by participating in healthy ageing programs that play a role in preventing falls and minimizing harm from falls.

PACI’s Steady Steps exercise program helps older people in the region maintain their fitness and acquire the skills to do it. Preventing falls is something we need to care about.

A simple fall can impact on us all. Every person, family and community is at risk, so it is imperative this acclaimed program in falls prevention continues.

Your bequest will help PACI meet one of the major challenges offered by the fastest growing age group in the nation.
